To explore this, I wanted to present a translation generated entirely by AI and observe how it is perceived by you, the reader.
Alongside this literary exploration, I also encountered financial constraints in the process of sharing my novel. The inability to work with a professional translator was a reality I had to contend with. While this decision may seem at odds with my deep belief in literature’s value and the importance of cross-cultural exchange, as a writer, my foremost goal has always been to connect with readers. Even if through AI assistance, I chose this path to bring my work to a wider audience.
Translating a literary work is not merely about converting words from one language to another; it is about preserving its essence, its rhythm, its soul. My aim was to test the boundaries of technology and see to what extent it can capture literary depth. I make no claim that this translation fully conveys the richness of the original text; however, I was curious to witness the impact of an AI-generated translation on its audience.
